DePerro graduated from the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University in 2004 and Miami University in 2001 with a BA in Speech and Organizational Communications. In 2009, DePerro became a Trustee of the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law Alumni Association.
